X Factor

Last night was the premiere telecast of another franchised reality show on ABS-CBN, "XFactor". This brought me to Youtube to compare the Filipino style from the original X Factor UK. As we all know, several contestants attained their dreams in fame after joining the X Factor since it was began like Leona Lewis, the hottest boyband today "One Direction" and Chris Rene. The creator of X Factor is Simon Cowell. Several lawsuits were filed against Cowell, accusing him copied the format of his previous show "American Idol". But X Factor continues to spread around the world and now here in the Philippines.

Chris Rene was in the third place in the Season 1 version in United States. He is one of my idol in X factor. Oooops, this is not an Americal idol by the way but still he is one of the contestant who inspire me because of his life experience. His job before joining the contest was a 'throw trash', he just came from a rehab after realizing that life is precious for him. He had an adddiction to coccaine and methamphetamins. He had a disease called ADDICTION but love for his wife and son still matters to him that's why he decided to undergone rehab for 70days.

Life is really too short to waste it in the streets drinking and taking addictive substances that will only put everyone in danger. Chris' composition of 'Young Hommie' is so inspiring and I want to share it here in my blog. Chris suffered in addiction but endure himself by just looking to his family. For suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character and character produces hope.
