Bad Experience

Hi there, its been months since I wrote my last entry here in my blog. I've been busy with my school and since it's already sem-break, it's probably time for me to write something.

We all have a bad experience once in a while, before we got to work, traffic, air pollution or crowded people in MRT are some of the experience we have. Bad experiences have a different amount of degree base from its intensity, perception or severity. Failed relationships, Accidents, traumatic events, embarassing moments and all the problems can be our bad experiences. These experiences are essential to people whether you like it or not. With these, we can be able to learn deeper and appreciate goodness from the bad things that happen to us. We need to turn these negative events into good and positive outcome for us to survive and become strong person. There a numerous inspiring stories in the television are being shown everyday about triumphs, success and miracles people experience after they had the struggles they've experience. Stories of how cancer patients cope after they were diagnosed of the disease, how people reacts
if there is something wrong is happening to our country and how mistreated women fight for their rights in the courts to have justice from their experiences. Filipinos are known to be complacent sometimes because we seem to acknowledge some wrong behaviors of our government officials as normal but we shall not tolerate unrightiousness in our country rather demand for more from them in order for us to be good citizens.

Bullying in the schools are one of the bad experiences students are having which is an issue right now. It was shown recently on the news when one student intentionally pushed his classmate in the classroom because he was touched in his private part of his body by his classmate and being teased everyday and that's the point where he cannot handled it anymore and became impatient about it. They were sent in the guidance office together with their parents. As the parent of his classmate came, he took out a gun and point it to the student and threatened him to stop accusing his son of bullying. Ofcourse, the school must take an action about this bad experience of the student. These bullying can be a traumatic event to some until they graduate or even for their lifetime if not resolved immediately. It is frustrating that students learn this bad behavior in their home and bring it to the school where other students with a good foundation at home is affected. This is probably one of the reason why some parents choose their children to study in their house as private home students so that they may not experience these things.

For me, I cannot blame these parents if they choose their children to be on a private home studies rather send them to school but avoiding outside world or environment is really not healthy at all. Eventually, they may encounter in their college or work in the future difficulties to handle some situations. Bad experiences in the primary and secondary schools can be a training ground for them to know how to handle future events/experience in their lives. For as long as they are guided by their teachers and especially parents.
