Success or trap?

I've been watching a lot of reality shows and talent search in the past few years. It becomes a hit all over the world. American Idol, Survivor and Amazing Race I believe started it all. Franchise of these shows are also a hit. I cannot believe sometimes what I have seen when people became hungry and greed of fame and power. I believe this is not good for all of us. Success become an idea of superstardom, fashion and fame. Little girls are imitating Lady gaga and Katy Perry while boys are looking upto Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik. Idea of people on success is different now. I believe that people should base their idea of success on who they really are and what makes them happy. Some people are trying to be someone else for approval or probably because of the pressure around them. Some people define success base from their travels. How many countries they've cross or foods they have tasted in different parts of the world. Sadly, some people base their success on material things. If they have buy the most prestigious house in beverly hills or luxury cars like Porsche. Success should be doing something not for our owns good but by how we can please the eye of our creator.  When we die, it does not matter how many buildings you create, how many of your hit songs become number 1 in the radio or how many followers you have on twitter. What really  important is your character and values you have in life. I really appreciate all people after they've reached their goal and become rich came to their point to realize that it is important to reach out to poor people by volunteering, donating and even be part of missionaries in other parts of asia and africa. There are just some people who does not care at all and   keep on trying and trying to be richer to the point of having a character of greed in power and fame. Its not that i am bitter for these people. Actually, these are blessings but there is responsibility in it that they need to consider.
