Fireproof

The whole country is grieving to Mang Cosme, as what I know him in my generation. Mang Kevin Cosme lives beside a trail way where trains pass by almost every hour, while they were cooking, chatting on the streets, and even while they were sleeping. Cosme's show was an inspiration for many Filipinos. He taught us that life was not really easy. Sometimes, he could provide a whole chicken for his family and he was so happy just to see his children be able to eat good food but there were times that they could not eat enough and shared for just a one piece of pork or fish for the whole of them. This is how a good father is Mang Cosme.

I just cannot imagine how Dolphy finds time to all his children because they are eighteen. As I watch the news, he seems not hard for him because all of his children are in a good condition. Maybe, I also need to give credit to all of their mothers for taking good care of them. But being a father, i believe is not an easy task or role. One of his son was interviewed and told the whole country that he was a drug addict before and asked forgiveness to Dolphy and he told to the reporter that he actually forgive Dolphy too. Maybe there are bigger problems in the family that we cannot see and they opt not to disclose for their privacy. In order for someone to be an inspiration to others, they need to disclose their weaknesses too. By these, we will be able to understand the person deeper. i have a high respect for Dolphy as a Comedian, Entertainer and Artist but I hope people will not emulate his life with regards to marrying a lot of women, making kids that sometimes he forsaken some of them already. As I watched Zsazsa Padilla  during Dolphy's wake in Dolphy Theater, I cannot avoid to cry because of their strong relationship that lasted for 20 or more years. I believe Dolphy really found happiness and contentment in her.

Quality time with a father is very important for the development of a child. They stand as a provider and  inspiration for his child. The greatest gift a father could ever give to his children is by loving their mother. By this, they can see respect to one another. A very good movie I watch today is Fireproof. This is a very inspirational movie for all couples that are having a problem with their relationship. It will be devastating for anyone if their marriage is not working so good and starting to tear apart. This movie made me realized that you just have to put God in the center of your relationship with anyone especially if you are married. By self-control, trust and respect, you will be able to deal with all your problems in your marriage very smooth. Giving up to marriage is never a choice. I remember my mother when she almost gave up to my dad for being womanizer before. But, she acted strong and fight for their marriage and for us his children. Now, I am so happy to see them happy together. They seldom quarrel and i must say they dont quarrel anymore. Praise God they attain their maturity and started to respect one another.
