Dear ****,              I first heard the movie Divergent when we watched Starting over again. I am happy that we happened to watch the movie because I thought it is just a another superhero film. It is not the most original plot but I found it more watchable than the Hunger Games, while the hunger games have more depth, this was more fun.                                    I found Tris(dunno the real name) likable and pretty than Jennifer lawrence though I also like Jen too. haha. I also like the love story more kasi ang gwapo nung Four(haha). I searched in the google the different faction system in divergent. they are Amity = Hippies, Dauntless = Jocks with ADHD, Erudite = Nerds, Candor = People Running for Student Council, Abegnation = The quiet majority. Its like observing students in APC with different factions and personalities. But seriously...

Finally, decided to write something today. A lot of things happened to me for the past months. I am so bless that I got a new job on teaching. This is what I believe the start of my career as academe, a teacher and a mentor. I teach in a caregiver's school and this is what I believe a stepping stone for me. I had an idea on applying for a job in caregiver school through the idea of my professor, Mam Yang. I applied and submitted a lot of resume in different schools and I am so happy that the timing is just right on. I just finished my semester in my school in FEU and summer break has just began and luckily I was called for an interview. They gave a topic for a teaching demo and I passed it. The following day, I was asked for an interview with the owner of the company. I was amazed that the interview with the owner was not exactly what I've expected. Dear ****, I will always say this to you. You inspire me and you make people happy just because of your charm that I know you already know (naks). But deep inside you, you are just a man with feelings and emotions. Life is just full of trials and obstacles. We are vulnerable and  sometimes we fall apart and we want to escape from reality. But for us to move on with our  lives, we need to face the situation and make a solution. In any problem there is a solution that  we need to make. Today is my birthday. Yes!, I was born February 6, 1986. It means that I am 27 years old. But one thing I know, life is great at any age. I must admit that I feel what other people also feel when birthdays come in, the 'birthday anxiety attack'. I never felt this before because I always celebrate it with my friends and family and always busy preparing for party. But this year, I chose to celebrate it by preparing an intimate dinner with my family. Probably because I am jobless at this moment so I don't want to spend a lot even my parents insisted me to invite my friends. This is also good opportunity for me to just be with them and feel their presence on my birthday. Philosophy of Teaching and Learning Introduction What is the significance of teaching? How can we learn best from our teachers? You can do anything you want to do, just believe in yourself and the power of prayer. That is one of the lesson that I learned from on of my favorite of all time "The Gifted Hands by Ben Carlson". This is an inspiring movie about a Neurosurgeon who was a dumb student when he was young and taught by her mother to believe in himself that he can be smart by reading and studying very well. I don't want to write about the plot but instead, I would just enumerate some of the lessons I've learned from watching this movie. The first lesson is the respect he had to his mother as well as the unconditional love of his mother to Ben and his brother.
