Finally, decided to write something today. A lot of things happened to me for the past months. I am so bless that I got a new job on teaching. This is what I believe the start of my career as academe, a teacher and a mentor. I teach in a caregiver's school and this is what I believe a stepping stone for me. I had an idea on applying for a job in caregiver school through the idea of my professor, Mam Yang. I applied and submitted a lot of resume in different schools and I am so happy that the timing is just right on. I just finished my semester in my school in FEU and summer break has just began and luckily I was called for an interview. They gave a topic for a teaching demo and I passed it. The following day, I was asked for an interview with the owner of the company. I was amazed that the interview with the owner was not exactly what I've expected. She interviewed me for an hour which is very unusual. Maybe, this is the way for her to assess me not only my abilities but also my values and attitude before she will hire me. Her offer on me was not exactly what I wanted but I still grabbed the opportunity anyways.

Success or trap?

I've been watching a lot of reality shows and talent search in the past few years. It becomes a hit all over the world. American Idol, Survivor and Amazing Race I believe started it all. Franchise of these shows are also a hit. I cannot believe sometimes what I have seen when people became hungry and greed of fame and power. I believe this is not good for all of us. Success become an idea of superstardom, fashion and fame. Little girls are imitating Lady gaga and Katy Perry while boys are looking upto Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik. Idea of people on success is different now. I believe that people should base their idea of success on who they really are and what makes them happy. Some people are trying to be someone else for approval or probably because of the pressure around them. Some people define success base from their travels.
